This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the solid primary zinc, among zinc ingots, which is obtained from the ore or other zinc-bearing materials by a process of distillation or by electro-chemical reduction, excluding zinc material in liquid form and reprocessed zinc manufactured by re-melting.
