This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies general rules in the case where qualitative analysis is carried out by measuring the absorbance within a range from near 200 nm to near 2500 nm of wavelength by using a spectrophotometer of a photoelectric photometer. However, the methods using an atomic absorption photometer and an infrared spectrophotometer are excluded.
