This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the antifreeze coolants (hereafter referred to as \"antifreeze coolants\"), mainly composed of ethylene glycol, which are employed for prevention of freezing of cooling liquid (hereafter referred to as \"cooling liquid\") used in a liquied-cooled internal combustion engine and for corrosion prevention of the cooling system. This can be used in aqueous solution of concentration from 25 vol % ti 60 vol %.
