This Japanese Industrial Standard is one of a series of the standards dealing with the sampling and test for paints and their related products. When the quality of the paints and coatings are evaluated, the reference sample shall be used as the control sample for evaluation in order to evaluate as objectively as possible for the testing items to be evaluated by sensual judgement. This Standard defines the specified conditions for the classification, validity period, control, renewal product standard.
