This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for rubber-covered, spiral wire reinforced hydraulic hoses suitable for use with mineral- and water-based fluids within a temperature range of -40 degree C to +100 degree C for Types 1 to 5 inclusive and -40 degree C to +121 degree C for Types 6 and 7. This Standard does not include requirements for end fittings. It is limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies.
