This Standard specifies the requirements for the steel cord conveyor belts of which the surfaces are plain, using steel cords as reinforcement, used within the range of ?30 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius in surface temperature. The belts used for special applications such as oil resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, flame resistance, food conveyance and personnel transport are excluded.
