This Standard specifies vertically positioned cylindrical chemical-resistant tanks attached with a fixed roof, made of glass-fiber reinforced thermosetting resin, which can store liquid chemicals of 140 cubic metres or less in capacity under atmospheric pressure. This Standard is not applicable to accessories such as valves, piping or measuring instruments that are attached to the nozzle of the tank body, or to bases, oil retaining walls, paintings, thermal insulating work or others.
