Textiles-Care labelling code using symbols

This standard is intended for use in the markings of textile articles and to provide information on the most severe treatment, such as washing, of such articles that will not cause irreversible damage to the product. It specifies a system of graphic symbols and the markings thereof related to the textile care process in domestic washing (washing, bleaching, drying and ironing) and professional textile care (dry cleaning and wet cleaning). It is not applicable to industrial laundering.
