This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the closed-circuit oxygen self rescuers to be used in escaping from the place dangerous to life due to harmful gases, smoke, oxygen deficiency, etc. generated by fire, explosition and other accidents in mines, tunnels, factories, etc., hereinafter referred to as the \"self rescuers\".
