This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the ultimate analysis of coal and coke. In this standard the ultimate analysis means measuring of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, total sulfur, sulfur in ash and phosphorus and calculating oxygen in combination. Further in addition, this standard specifies the carbon dioxide determination method of carbonate type of coal.
