Methods for analysis of coal ash and coke ash

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods for analysis of the ashes of coals, hereinafter referred to as the \"coal ash\", and ashes of cokes, hereinafter referred to as the \"coke ash\". The coal ash or coke ash in this standard means the ashes of the first class and of the second class, as follows: (1) Ashes of First Class Those ashes of the air dried samples of coals and cokes which have been incinerated under the incinerating conditions specified in 3. of JIS M 8812. (2) Ashes of Second Class Those ashes which have been produced by the combustion of coals or cokes in stoking equipments.
