This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies testing method of pH in hot-water extracts and cold-water extracts obtained from paper, board and pulps. These testing methods can apply to all types of paper, board and pulps whose aqueous extracts show electric conductivity of over 0.2 mS/m when it is measured by the method specified in ISO 6587.
