This part of JIS R 1703 specifies the measurement of decomposition activity index among indexes which affect the self-cleaning performance of flat-plate shaped photocatalytic materials. This part of JIS R 1703 does not apply to the permeable materials into which water seeps and cannot remain and the visible light response type photocatalytic materials.
