This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the marking pen that consists of a container made of plastic, glass or metal, an absorber impregnated with ink encased in the container, and a penpoint made of fibre or plastic attached to the absorber. However, the water-based marking pen for line-marking and the water-based brush pen are excluded.
