This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies 2-hole fixed-pitch type paper punches used for punching cards and slips for filing them in business offices, schools, and the like, hereinafter referred to as the \"punches\". However, punches with depth adjuster, electric motor-driven punches, and punches with lateral positioning gauge are excluded.
