A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the requirements common to the patient monitoring system monitoring for long period the physiological informations of patients. However, it does not apply for the centralized patient monitoring system. Further, when this differs from the specification of particular standard, the specifications of individual standard have preference.
