This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for vaporizers for home use used with water or 1 % salt solution as the inhalant in use for other than the hospital and the clinic. Moreover, this Standard applies to the single-phase apparatus with the rated voltage of 100 V and the apparatus internally powered with the voltage not more than safety extra-low voltage (SELV).
