JIS T 3254:2025

This Standard specifies requirements for blood collection containers, namely single-use syringes for blood gas specimen collection, that enable the collection of blood from an artery or blood circuit to obtain blood gas analysis specimen and the storage of the blood without exposure to air. Blood collection containers may be with or without needles, or may be a packaged kit containing both the blood collection container and the needle, and shall be sterile, ready for immediate use, and intended for single use only.
