This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies, among the ethylene oxide gas sterilizers to be used for sterilization of medical instruments (hereafter, referred to as the \"sterilizers\"), those of automatic operation with a pressure vessel in which the maximum allowable working pressure corresponding to the specifications of pressure vessels defined by law, etc. is 0.25 MPa (2.5 kgf/cm*2) or under and the internal volume is 100 liter or over.
