This Standard specifies the manually operated hospital gatch bed consists of the mattress and side rails which are combined with the body of manually operated hospital gatch bed. This Standard is applicable to the flat floor type bed also, but excludes beds having a particular function or an electric drive (including an electric hydraulic drive).
