This Standard specifies the requirements for assistive products for walking, manipulated by both arms, that can support the whole weight of user, with the four legs without wheels or two legs without wheels and the other two legs with wheels. However, standing aids and walking assist chairs are excluded. Wheels with a pressure brake which is locked when the body weight or force is applied are not considered to be wheels.
