This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies terms and definitions, hereinafter referred to as the \"terminology\", relating to freight containers, hereinafter referred to as the \"container\", for carrying goods by one or more modes of transport, without intermediate raloading of the cargo the container is transporting, in the international trade. However, terminology relating to air mode containers is excluded.
