This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the testing methods for detecting leaks in which pressure to the surface of the test specimen is increased or decreased such that a gas leak is generated due to the difference in pressure between the test surface and the opposite surface, and the formed bubbles can be observed by application to the test surface of a foaming liquid.
