This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies methods for detecting leaks in which pressure to the surface of the test specimen is increased or decreased such that a gas leak is generated due to the difference in pressure between the test surface and the oppsite surface, and the formed bubbles can be observed by application a foaming liquid to the test surface.
