This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the method of preparing deposited metal and a method of sampling for chemical analysis of the deposited metal of covered electrodes and flux cored wires. However, this standard does not apply to the covered electrodes for hardfacing and the flux cored wires used for the similar applications.
