This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the standard qualification procedure for the gas pressure welding technique to weld steel bars specified in JIS G 3112 to be used for structures acooring to the gas pressure welding technique using oxygen-acethylene flame. However, this Standard is not applicable to deformed steel bars SD490 among steel bars for concrete reinforcement.
