This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies, among the personal dosemeters specified in JIS Z 4332, the alarm dosemeters which measure the 1 cm dose equivalent received extracorporally by a person from X-rays and gamma-rays of photon energy or effective energy 30 keV to 3 MeV and generate the alarm when the dose has exceeded the alarm setting value.
