This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies fluorescent safety signs hereafter referred to as \"signs\" executed with works by using fluorescent color materials to safety signs specified in JIS Z 9107, mine safety signs specified in JIS M 7001 based on JIS Z 9106 as measures for disaster prevention and first-aid system in business places such as factory, mine, construction work place, school, hospital, theater, etc., station, road, wharf, airport (excluding air station), vehicle, ship, aeroplane, etc.
