This Standard specifies the general rules of lighting design standard and lighting requirements to enable people to engage in various activities in a healthy, safe, easy and comfortable manner by means of principally artificial lighting.Where individual lighting standards are specified in the Japanese Industrial Standards (JISs) separate from this Standard, the individual lighting standards shall apply.
