This specification states the requirements for the procurement of Arming Device Mk 2 Mods 1 and 3 (Unloaded) and the requirements for the loading of Arming Device Mk 2 Mods 1 and 3. Arming Device Mk2 Mods 1 and 3 (Unloaded) perform the final electrical switching and mechanical alignment necessary to arm the exploder and, when loaded, contain the primary explosive train which detonates the torpedo warhead.
