This specification establishes the design, performance, and acceptance requirements for AM-7177A/ARC Radio Frequency Amplifier hereinafter referred to as the amplifier. The AM-7177A/ARC is a linear amplifier, operating in the 225.0 MHz through 400 MHz band. With an input of nominally 2 watts, the amplifier, with its self-contained automatic level control, provides an output at 30 watt RF level.
