This specification covers body armor trousers for the explosive ordanance disposal (EOD) system. The trousers consists of an aramid ballistic filler enclosed in an oxford aramid cloth shell. The trousers are part of the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) system and are a special purpose Life Support Clothing and Equipment (LSC&E) item. All government administrative and surveillance procedures applicable to LSC&E items shall be invoked in accordance with the contract or purchase order (see 6.2).
