DESIGN AND EVALUATION OF CARTRIDGE ACTUATED DEVICES
Details general requirements for design and methods for testing cartridge actuated devices (CADs), including any device providing the means of releasing potential cartridge energy or harnessing this energy to accomplish work. Testing determines performance, (soundness of mechanical design), safety, and resistance to environments encountered during (handling), storage, and service use.
