This specification covers an undercounter or flush counter top type dishwashing machine for uniformly washing and rinsing dishes in racks by spraying an aqueous detergent solution and rinse water from above and below and for rendering eating utensils physically and hygienically clean and in such sanitary conditions as to prevent transmission of disease. The machine shall be capable of being readily disassembled and reassembled for submarine installation (see 3.4).
