This specification establishes the requirement for the refurbishment (rework) of the CKU-5C/A rocket catapults (ROCAT) for aircraft ejection seat assemblies. This specification includes only the requirements for restoration of salvageable hardware. All other requirements for the CKU-5C/A ROCAT are specified in the new unit specification, MIL-DTL-32127 and drawing 512-174-0068. The earlier versions of the CKU-5C/A ROCAT, the CKU-5/A/A and CKU-5B/A, may be converted to the CKU-5C/A configuration during the rework.
