This specification covers AA5083, AA5456, & AA5059 wrought aluminum alloy armor plate for both welded and unwelded applications in nominal thicknesses from 0.250 to 3.000 inch, inclusive with additional greater thicknesses for AA5083 from 3.001 to 10.500 (see 6.2).
