This specification covers the performance requirements for PNP silicon, through hole power transistors for power applications. Three levels of product assurance (JAN, JANTX, and JANTXV) are provided for each encapsulated device type as specified in MIL-PRF-19500. One level of product assurance (JANHC) is provided for each unencapsulated device.
