    This specification covers three grades of lubricity improver additives that are used in naval distillate fuels conforming to MIL-DTL-16884. Grade A and B additives are used either in finished fuel from a supplier, or to be stored as a neat product in Department of Defense (DoD) facilities. Grade C additives are used in finished fuel provided by suppliers of MIL-DTL-16884 and are not stored as a neat product in DoD facilities.
