This specification describes the performance requirements and the verifications methods for a LUBRICANT, SEMI-FLUID (AUTOMATIC WEAPONS). This semi-fluid lubricant is for use on small and medium automatic weapons to include rotary cannons operating within a temperature range of –54 to +127°C (-65 to +260°F). The lubricant is identified by Military Symbol LSA and NATO Code Number O-158.
