Specification which covers a 28 Volt (V) direct current (dc) alternating current (ac), oil cooled generator with integral rectifier, herein referred to as (alternator), which gives regulated output at any engine load to 500 amperes (A) any engine speed from 2000/2400 revolutions per minute (rpm) also any load to 650 A at any speed from 2400/8000 rpm, where the field excitation is controlled re a solid-state regulator - see 6.1.
