Determines the general requirements for converters that convert electrical power in aircraft from nominal 115/200 volts alternating current (AC), 400 Hertz (Hz), AC three-phase, aircraft electrical systems power to nominal 28 volt regulated and non-regulated direct current (DC) power.

This specification establishes the general requirements for converters that convert electrical power in aircraft from nominal 115/200 volts alternating current (AC), 400 Hertz (Hz), AC three-phase, (see 6.7.1) aircraft electrical systems power to nominal 28 volt regulated and non-regulated direct current (DC) (see 6.7.4) power.
