This specification covers disposable hydraulic line filter elements that retain all particles larger than 5 microns. For use, the element is inserted in a canister prior to use in a Hydraulic system, and is intended for use with hydraulic fluids conforming to MIL-PRF-83282, MIL-PRF-87257, and MIL-PRF-5606.
