This publication provides guidance on operating techniques, error detection and correction, and operator maintenance of equipment for microfilming.Some explanatory material has been included to assist the operator’s understanding of the basic theory behind the laid-down procedures; however, this publication does not purport to deal exhaustively with micrographic technology.A table listing some frequently encountered defects and their causes is shown in Appendix A.
