Establishes material requirements for three types of cold applied polyolefin tapes used for pipeline coating and multilayered tape systems using these materials. Inner layer tapes, Type 1, are pressure sensitive; inner layer tapes, Type 2, are laminated tapes; and outer layer tapes, Type 3, are tapes that provide mechanical protection. Typical property values (i.e., thickness, tensile strength, elongation at break) are given for each type, as well as for multiple layer system.
