Defines grades of continuously hot rolled low carbon steel sheet and strip for cold forming including chemical composition and mechanical properties. Applies to products between 1.5 mm and 8 mm thick. Does not apply to hot rolled products of non-alloy structural steels for general use, steel sheet for pressure purposes, steel sheet for welded gas cylinders or quenched and tempered steels, which are covered by other standards.
