Defines a spectrometric method for determining the residues of dithiocarbamates and thiuram disulfides, that release carbon disulfide under the described conditions, e.g. maneb, propineb, mancozeb, zineb, and thiuram. Applicable to compounds in and on fruit, vegetables, cereals and other foods of plant origin. The general maximum residue limits (MRLs) are explained in terms of carbon disulfide. Not applicable to the identification of individual compounds, but quantification of the whole group using this method.
