Annex A (informative) Selection of filters
Gives the test procedure for a non-invasive measurement of X-ray tube voltages employing the energy spectrum of X-rays (spectrometric method). Applies to the 10 kV to 500 kV voltage range. The correspondence of the actual voltage is checked with the indicated value on he control panel of the X-ray unit. It measures the maximum energy and not complete X-ray spectrum. Covers tank type and constant potential X-ray units.
