Describes requirements and relevant methods of measuring and testing two types of thermoplastic hoses with maximum design working pressure of 1 MPa and 2 MPa respectively, for use in flexible gas supply lines in small kits according to EN 1326, air-aspirated blowpipes for welding and allied processes, such miniature welding as jewellery work, dentistry work excluding acetylene applications and arc welding with shielding gas. Not applicable to hoses for liquified petroleum gases (LPG) in liquid form and acetylene.
