Defines requirements and test procedures for walking aids controlled by one arm (used singly or in pairs, manipulated by arms, maybe together with upper body) and those controlled by both arms, used singly, manipulated by both arms, possibly combined with use of upper body, as described by subclasses 1203 and 1206 in EN ISO 9999(1998). Not applicable to specially designed walking aids, or those having adaptations for specified disabled persons.
