A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Describes the semantics and syntax of the computer programming language Pascal. Does not specify the size of a program and its data that will exceed the capacity of a processing system, the minimal requirements of a data processing system capable of supporting Pascal, the method activating the set of commands used to control the environment in which a Pascal program is executed, the mechanism by which programs written in Pascal are transformed for use by a data processing system, the method for reporting error or warning and the typographical representation of a program published for human reading.
